Human Resource Management Diploma Proposal...

October 3, 2005: Today, the new full program proposal for a new Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Human Resource Management goes through to the Kwantlen University College Education Council for approval. The new degree looks great but one concern I've had is that there are about 8 business courses at the 2nd year level that never seem to be offered, focusing on two key areas: Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour.

As such, I've put through a proposal to create a new program based on offering these already developed courses, by using them to create a new Human Resource Management Diploma which could ladder into the new degree program. I've asked student reps on Education Council to bring this idea forward, and will e-mail the proposal to the Faculty of Business at Kwantlen University College.
