you laugh and see stars changing
			see stars fading

you laugh and see others reaching out for those very same stars

and they stand staring all alone		
			so amazingly alone

			as the rain starts to pour down heavily
			sideways stinging everything
			it hitting and stinging and tearing life apart

you laugh and see flesh mutilated by violent drops of rain
from muddled cartoon like black clouds
that float above 				you and me
