personal poetry
steve lee's what the darkness doesn't know
just let

my untroubled landscape
and melting fingers mingle
and bestow a love just found

beneath an untroubled endless dissolving
air that skates a figure eight around
a desire shaped out of wet sand

you uncover a constant
unwavering desire tightly
wrapped in the petals of
a velvet maroon flower --
a firmness hidden
in the thrushes of
endless gesture --
and a forgotten field

you stand whispering
on tip toes so gently
to a storyteller
the four things you'd
like to hear a
story about

and your tongue stretched
out to lick his ear

hearing describing
seeing feeling

screaming

let the world flow through you
let the world flow through
let the world flow
let the world

just let
