Popcorn Sexuality

sitting in front of the computer screen jerking off
at the sound of sensuality lost and just wishing it were real
as the images reverberate off the screen into my eyeballs
and into the back of my mind where false words echo too

because there’s money in it too
as illicit chants ring out from the keys
like some strange, wild and maddening tapdance
of twisted love and just wishing it were real

just wishing it were real
just wishing it was

just wishing and loving
the anonymity that exists
somewhere beneath it all.
