you ever see her swing her legs back and forth,
as she rocks gently in that garden swing that’s tied up in
that giant oak tree of shimmering leaves?

Yes, she dreams of combined human beings entwined with
no science involved putting genes together for an embraced seated couple desperate for just a little something more

desperate for passion but look —

she’s already up the hill and clearing through the highest banks of wheat – and now past through the dripping trees and sullen bush!

But she returns and sits in front of you so you can 
Just look at the small of her neck and you can reach out to feel
that stubborn block that flows out from uncertainty.

And I’ll ask if you’ve ever heard her voice – high pitched and incessant, assuring and so alluring, daintily embraced in a volcanic blast of thunder.

And it comes to an end oh so quickly,
	with a knife taken sharp to the throat and cut up
	life resting silently on my shoulder, as I ask again,

whispering into the air - you ever see?
